As a previously burned out wedding photographer, I've learned so much about creating a sustainabie business that you love for years and years. This industry is beautiful, but it can be so hard — with 10 years working full time in this industry, I've learned that there are some seasons of life and business when you realize you can't or shouldn't have to do it alone.
First, this isn't just outsourcing — this is a dedicated partnership.
Before we dive in — what does it look like working together? With me, you have a dedicated partner, a former wedding photographer, and an biz accountability buddy that wants you to thrive and succeed sustainably. While I appreciate that some photographers just need occasional editing support, these aren't the photographers I'm best suited for — I prefer to work closely with only a handful of long-term, luxury wedding photographers.

The photography / photo editing styles I work with aren't limited — however, I do thrive with timeless, true to life editing (although, I'm a bit biased and love my fellow hybrid digital + film photographers). the SCREEN
I'M KATIE — FILM PHOTOGRAPHER WITH A BFA → TURNED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER → PRIVATE PHOTO EDITOR → MULTI-PASSIONATE ENTREPRENEUR + EDUCATOR
But — that's not the beginning of my story! Soon after graduating with a BFA in Photography, I launched a wedding photography business that gained quick success! But, I creatively burned out almost as quickly as I grew. So, I hung up my gear, and started to travel full-time (when the phrase "digital nomad" was a new term)! While traveling, I became the photo editor I wished I always had. It profoundly changed my life, and I've met + worked with photographers from all over the world. From traveling all over to to edit at huge on-site events to editing micro, backyard weddings from the comfort of my home office — my screen changes everyday. Now, 10+ years into the wedding photography industry, I've created a beautifully variety of work for myself as an editor. As a creative, educating and serving fellow creatives motivates me more than I can express.

1-5 Business Day Turnaround
My goal is to deliver with 1-3 business days, however this might flex between 3-5 business days during the heaviest seasonal weeks! I'm all about quality over speed, with good planning on the client-side this has always worked well for my clients!

Availability
I choose to work with a small amount of clients at a time, always less than eight. For this reason, it's crucial we are a good fit. While I retain most of my clients, sometimes I do accept new clients — please apply ASAP or join my waitlist to be notified of an openeing.
Client Requirements
To work with me, photographers must have the budget and intentions to outsource on a long-term basis. I put a lot of unpaid time, attention, and effort into getting to know my clients' unique style and editing goals. For this reason, I do not on-board or commit to short term partnerships.
Investment
No subscription payments required. My pricing is flexible based on the scope of your editing needs, extent of editing, and/or film matching. My rates range from $0.39-$0.45/image. Culling is available on a time tracked hourly basis.

can you show me example galleries?
Every image you see on this page is my own. Showing you an edited gallery from another client isn't useful to you — each of my clients style are unique and vary. My goal as an editor to is refine, elevate, and create consistency + cohesion for each client based on their own standards and style. View my About Me + Photography Here
do you offer extensive retouching in ps?
No. I work in Lightroom Classic only, retouching with extensive mask/brush work is only accepted on a case by case basis and billed by the hour if I have availability or agree to the additional extensive retouching.
I'm new to this, i'm not great with lightroom
That's okay — when on-boarding you'll follow really simple steps and video tutorials that hold your hand through the process.
are free consultations available?
Yes, to an extent! If I have an opening and we both feel we are a good fit for each other, we can hop on a phone or video call to chat details + your custom needs! Start by submitting the form below so we can chat more! I've mentored hundreds of photo editors, and can send you referrals if we're not the best fit possible.
do you edit portrait sessions?
If my availability allows, yes. While my energy and editing time is mostly reserved for larger editing needs like weddings, I will accept sessions if my current availability allows. Typically, my clients will shoot me a quick text in-app and ask if I'm available to accept an extra session or two that week!
In the app, I have an "Announcements" section where I'll post notifs when I have extra availability for work or upcoming OOF dates planned in the upcoming months.
I'd love to hear more about your outsourcing goals! I limit myself to only working with 4-6 long term clients at a time to maintain a consistent turnaround and higher quality of communication + delivery. I invest a lot of time and care with clients I bring onboard, please only apply if you are considering establishing an efficient, long-term outsourcing workflow.
